About the photo

The night before visiting the bird cliff at Gjesvær in August 2023, we spent the night on a camping elsewhere in Nordkapp. When going for a midnight walk, I stumbled across a group of (domesticated) reindeer, one of which this one with bright white fur that contrasted nicely against the purple-ish darkness.
